Functional Skills Entry Level 2 supports learners to improve practical English, maths, and everyday problem-solving skills. In English, learners practise reading short texts, writing clear sentences, completing forms, following instructions, and communicating in everyday and workplace situations.
In maths, learners develop skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, money, time, measurement, data, and simple problem-solving. The course is designed to help learners become more independent and confident in real-life situations such as shopping, appointments, work preparation, travel, and managing daily responsibilities. Functional Skills qualifications are widely used in college, community, and work-based learning settings.
