Preparing to Learn Level 2 is designed for students who already have some learning experience but need to strengthen their study skills, independence, and personal organisation. This level helps learners become more confident, focused, and prepared for structured education, training, or work-related learning.

Students develop practical skills such as goal setting, research, note-taking, problem-solving, self-reflection, planning assignments, managing deadlines, participating in discussions, and using feedback to improve.

This level also supports learners to understand their strengths, identify areas for development, and take more responsibility for their progress. It is suitable for students preparing for vocational qualifications, apprenticeships, employability programmes, or further study.
